QuickPlay Media selected as a finalist for ME Awards 2008
Mobile Entertainment magazine recognises QuickPlay Media for its OpenVideo™ media management platform for mobile TV and video services

QuickPlay Media, a leading provider of mobile TV and video solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been selected from hundreds of entrants as one of five finalists in this year’s ME Awards for the Best Video Service Provider. Over the last few years the ME Awards have firmly established themselves as the biggest mobile content awards in Europe, celebrating success and innovation in the thriving mobile content sector. QuickPlay’s premier OpenVideo platform is currently being used by 14 mobile operators in North America and Europe to manage and distribute content from more than 150 different media companies to 25 consumer services.

To pick the finalists, Mobile Entertainment carefully evaluated 100s of entries and whittled the list down to just 100 companies across 19 awards in three categories comprising of “Development & Publishing,” “Services,” and “Operators & Handsets.” All finalists will be honored, and winners will be announced, in a special ceremony that will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on Thursday, September 25th 2008, At the event, there will also be a special award recognizing the company that has made the most outstanding contribution to mobile content.
