Paris, France — 3 September, 2012
QuickPlay Media, Inc., the leading provider of managed service solutions for the distribution of premium media to IP-connected devices, today announced the appointment of Alexandre Maes as VP of Sales for EMEA. Following a $100 million investment by Madison Dearborn Partners LLC in June, this appointment is part of QuickPlay’s continued expansion of the company’s EMEA presence.
Maes joins QuickPlay to drive the company’s growth across the EMEA region from Paris, where he joins Mark Hyland, QuickPlay’s head of sales, who relocated there in 2011. Prior to this, he held positions at NDS Technology Beijing and Gemalto (formerly Gemplus International).
