QuickPlay Media appoints new Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing .

QuickPlay Media, the leading provider of cloud-based managed service solutions for the distribution of premium media to IP-connected devices, today announced the executive appointments of André Christensen as Chief Operating Officer and Michael Couture as Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Christensen will be working closely with the executive team to drive operational excellence across QuickPlay. Prior to joining QuickPlay, Christensen served as SVP Business Operations at Yahoo globally, leading major efforts around product go-to-market, operations and partnerships. Preceding Yahoo, Christensen spent 12 years with McKinsey as a partner where he launched and developed the Business Technology practice in Canada, led McKinsey’s global Strategic Sourcing practice focused on managed service and cross border operations, and worked extensively with leading media and telecom companies in Europe, Asia and North America. Christensen holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
Couture brings more than 20 years’ of Sales and Marketing experience, including his most recent role leading the Amdocs Canadian Managed Services business. Prior to that, Couture was General Manager and Head of Global Marketing for Amdocs. Couture will be leading Product Management, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Development and strategic sales initiatives. Couture holds a BA Economics and MBA from McMaster University.
