The OpenVideo lifecycle management modules are built to manage the three critical lifecycle phases of a successful mobile media service - content, customer and transactions.

Content Lifecycle Management:

The content lifecycle management module enables the efficient and rapid ingestion, encoding/transcoding and publication of significant volumes and types of high quality content in all major formats including live streaming TV, short and long form video, advertising, social media, location based services, audio and radio.

The platform is designed with the added flexibility of a web based self administration console that enables mobile operators and partners to access a secure tool through which they can manage content in real time. This includes frequently required changes such as adding or removing content providers or implementing new content for an existing provider.

Customer Lifecycle Management:

The customer lifecycle management module supports all elements of the customer lifecycle from content discovery and personalized viewing experiences to video service delivery. Available options include download, progressive download and streaming.

To enhance delivery capabilities and the customer experience, this module supports Vital Mobile 2.0 features such as personalized recommendations and targeted advertising based on user profile and viewing behavior, advanced search and discovery options, and “send to a friend” capabilities.

OpenVideo is fully OSA Parlay compliant with support for all pricing models including event driven, subscription based billing and advertising models. It also supports DRM forward locking and combined delivery.

Transaction Lifecyle Management:

The transaction lifecycle management module provides detailed reporting and analytics to enable informed decisions regarding service success and usage and for a mobile operator to manage settlement details with content providers. Key components include:

  • Automated consumption based reporting of key metrics to assess overall service take up and usage, including current data and trends
  • Integrated reports that allow your business to determine content provider popularity and immediately adjust offerings and/or menu placement
