Windows Mobile Developer

Responsibilities

  • Participating in Windows Mobile platform development
  • Participating in requirements and project scope discussions
  • Participating in technical specifications development
  • Developing source code to comply with our client's policy
  • Providing unit testing for own code
  • Calculating necessary product source code metrics and report weekly activity
  • Providing post-release support for product
  • Participating in 3rd level of customer escalation and hotfix activities

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • BS in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience in computer science field
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering
  • 2+ years of development under MS Windows Mobile OS (version 5 & 6)
  • 2+ years of experience architecting software for Windows CE and Windows Mobile
  • Expert in Windows Mobile tools - Platform builder, Visual Studio, etc. 2+ years of development for various mobile devices
  • Clear understanding of difference between desktop and mobile development
  • 2+ years of C# and .Net development experience
  • Having experience in WebServices, SOAP, XML
  • Having experience working in a team environment
  • Any experience on Wireless Connectivity technologies  would be a big plus

Other Desired skills

  • RIM Java
  • Blackberry development experience
  • J2ME knowledge
