Wayne Purboo

Wayne Purboo is responsible for the overall management and execution of the company’s mission to deliver rich media experiences to mobile device users. Purboo’s extensive experience in the telecommunications industry comes from working with many of the largest and most innovative carriers around the globe. Previously Purboo was the Vice President of Strategy for Amdocs, a supplier of integrated customer management solutions to leading communications companies. Before that, Purboo was Chief Technology Officer of Solect Technology Group, which was acquired by Amdocs for $1.2 Billion (USD) in 1998.
Samih Elhage
Chief Operating Officer, Nokia Siemens Networks
Samih Elhage currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Nokia Siemens Networks, where he is a member of the executive board. Previously, Mr. Elhage held a number of leadership roles at Nortel Networks, including president of carrier VoIP and applications solutions and vice president of corporate business operations. Prior to Nortel, he held multiple management and leadership roles at Bell Canada relating to network development. In addition, Mr. Elhage has worked as a senior advisor to leading private equity and global management consulting firms, focusing on investments and improving the operating performance of companies in the telecommunications sector. Mr. Elhage received B.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
Gerhard Bette
Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, Inc.
Gerhard Bette is a Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, Inc. He was one of the founders and leaders of McKinsey’s global telecommunications practice.
For nearly 30 years his practice focused on serving senior executives of leading telecommunication carriers and equipment providers on their most critical topics ranging from developing product market strategies, functional performance improvement programs to transforming entire organizations. He also worked extensively with new entrants and several private equity investors in this dynamic space. Additional, Mr. Bette has been a lecturer at the Kellogg Scholl of Management for more than a decade where he has taught classes on business building, leading in professional service firms and problem solving.
Since his retirement from McKinsey in 2010 he has been a consultant, advisor, coach and teacher.
Jim Perry
Managing Director, Madison Dearborn Partners
Jim Perry is a Managing Director at Madison Dearborn Partners and heads MDP’s Telecom, Media & Technology Services team. Prior to co-founding MDP, Mr. Perry was with First Chicago Venture Capital for eight years. Previously, he was with The First National Bank of Chicago. Mr. Perry currently serves on the Boards of Directors of QuickPlay Media, Asurion Corporation, MetroPCS Communications, Inc., Sorenson Communications Holdings, LLC, The Topps Company, Inc., Univision Communications Inc., and Chicago Public Radio. Mr. Perry received a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Zaid Alsikafi

Zaid Alsikafi is a Managing Director on Madison Dearborn Partners’ Telecom, Media & Technology Services team. Before joining MDP, Mr. Alsikafi was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the financial institutions group, and with MDP as an Associate for two years. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of QuickPlay Media, Univision Communications Inc. and Fieldglass Inc. Mr. Alsikafi received a B.S. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard’s Graduate School of Business Administration.
