Pocket Cinema™ by QuickPlay Media is a mobile movie service currently available in the UK on the Blackberry® Torch™ 9800. The service enables users to access hundreds of new and classic movies to easily rent, download and watch movies on their BlackBerry®. This mobile movie service is being extended to other markets and smartphones in the near future.
RIM Podcasting – QuickPlay powers the first-ever podcasting service for RIM’s award-winning BlackBerry® smartphones. The service provides customers with access to over 350,000 audio and video podcasts from hundreds of leading content providers including CBC Canada, Radio Canada, Discovery, Reuters, NPR, Bloomberg, Thirteen Forum, Public Radio International, and TVO Kids. The podcast service is free to download from BlackBerry App World for the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 and 9700, the BlackBerry® Storm™ I and II, the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 and the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8500 series.
